We seek a dynamic Strategic Account Manager to join our regional team. This person will play an integral role in the adoption of ResMed products and solutions by customers and physicians. As a part of ResMed, you will help lead the way in cloud-connected medical devices that transform care for people suffering from sleep apnea, COPD, and other chronic diseases.
Let’s talk about the position:
- Drive ResMed brand prescriptions by planning, positioning, and implementing ResMed products and solutions with physicians and sleep labs
- Identify areas of opportunity to increase the patient funnel by leveraging existing solutions with providers and customers
- Develop and maintain solid relationships and engagement with Home Medical Equipment customers for pull-through and clinical preference
- Acquire a thorough understanding of client and patients’ needs to instill ResMed branded solutions from beginning to end of a patient’s journey while minimizing fallout
- Collaborate with the Account Management team through the sales process and long-term implementation of the solution(s) using a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system
- Professionally represent ResMed as the subject matter expert on the broad portfolio of products and solutions

- Adept to analyze customer data to understand patient and provider relationship to offer ResMed brand solutions
- Strong business acumen and the ability to build trust and creditability with customers and gain their adoption of ResMed products and solutions as their primary preference
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with customers and adjust strategies to meet their needs
Qualifications and Experience:
- 5+ years of sales experience plus a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Prior top-ranked medical device sales experience or business-to-business (B2B) experience in software or other technical products and solutions sales
- Exceptional sales skills in questioning to uncover needs, positioning products and solutions, and gaining commitment
- Experience using Salesforce (SFDC) or similar customer relationship management (CRM) platforms
- Excellence in all forms of communication, including being an effective communicator in upstream and cross-channel collaboration
- Motivated and results-oriented, and a focus on continuous improvement
- Team player with a strong work ethic and a can-do attitude
- Ability to travel throughout the territory as necessary to achieve results

Individual pay decisions are based on a variety of factors, such as the candidate’s geographic work location, relevant qualifications, work experience, and skills.
This role is eligible for a Sales Incentive Plan with a target of $73,000 annually.
At ResMed, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current base range for this position is: $84,000 - $126,000
For remote positions located outside of the US, pay will be determined based the candidate’s geographic work location, relevant qualifications, work experience, and skills.
