A Day in the LifeThe Strategic Account Management team works with strategic accounts. There is a cardiology project in one of the university hospitals in Prague that requires support from our side. The intern will also support the sales team with sales data extracted from several available tools (market share, number of cases, addressable market calculation).
Internship details:
- Start date: November
- Working hours: 20 hours per week
- Location: Czech Republic, ideally Prague
- Work model: Remote, with presence at the hospital in Prague at least once per week
- Duration: 6 months
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned):
- Management, configuration, and maintenance of specialized medical software (hospital information system for interventional cardiology rooms)
- Cooperation with the software supplier in implementing new modules, updates, and integrations
- Training users on the system and updating user documentation
- Analytical support and service for the SAM team, including local sales data collection and evaluation
Required knowledge:
- Pursuing a bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD degree in a medical field
- Fluent in Czech
- Advanced English (including medical terminology); ability to understand technical documentation
- Knowledge of the performance of CathLabs and other interventional rooms
- Knowledge of legislation related to health information systems and data protection (advantage)
- GDPR, compliance, and medical documentation knowledge
- Strong analytical thinking, systematic approach, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with users (doctors, nurses, administrative staff)
Would be a plus:
- Interest in optimization, digitalization, and process improvement
- Willingness to learn new skills
- Experience with information systems administration (healthcare software is an advantage)
