What You Will Be Doing:
  • Lead business development and sales activities within assigned verticals, especially targeting data center operators and major enterprise clients
  • Identify, pursue, and close opportunities for data center connectivity and services, as well as other commercial data solutions
  • Establish and manage long-term relationships with new and existing business accounts through ongoing contact and consultation
  • Seek and act upon customer feedback to drive total satisfaction and loyalty
  • Lead and coordinate RFP responses and sales presentations
  • Deeply understand customer needs, technical requirements, and industry-specific trends
  • Organize and lead cross-functional team sessions to deliver customer solutions and achieve business objectives
  • Achieve monthly sales and revenue targets for assigned verticals and accounts
  • Maintain accurate CRM and sales records to effectively forecast and measure activity
  • Adhere to all company standards and demonstrate professional business etiquette

What You Will Need:

  • 3–5 years of account management experience, ideally focused on vertical and/or data center sales
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
  • 5–10 years of telecommunications sales or related technical sales experience, with a strong focus on vertical industry sectors (such as data centers, cloud providers, large enterprises, or industry-specific solutions)
  • Experience selling to and managing relationships with data center operators or similar vertical accounts
  • Proficient in reviewing and negotiating contracts from a business perspective
  • Proven experience leading cross-functional teams on critical projects
  • Demonstrated sales and negotiation expertise
  • Ability to multitask and effectively manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong process improvement and problem-solving skills
  • Quick learner with a high level of adaptability
  • Collaborative team player with a strong work ethic and positive attitude
  • Proficiency in Salesforce.com, MS Word, Excel, and other Microsoft Office applications
