The Impact You Will Make:

  • Discover and engage with identified VIPs in your assigned CBSA, successfully onboarding 12 VIPs per quarter. Quota is subject to change based on market need.
  • Conduct extensive research that demonstrates a thorough understanding of your assigned opportunities and manage the entire sales pipeline, prospecting through successful activation
  • Secure appointments with prospective clients and current partners to uncover needs and present the value of a partnership. You will be the face of Grubhub and the point of contact within your assigned CBSA
  • Work cross functionally on a team with Sales, ROI and Success to exhibit first class customer experience.
  • Exhibit excellent product knowledge for sales, product knowledge for ROI, and product knowledge for Success
  • Travel weekly in your local market and conduct in person meetings with decision makers in an effort to grow local restaurant networks
  • Exceed quarterly sales goals while working within a team environment
  • Be the market expert: gather restaurant feedback, monitor competitor activity, marketing opportunities, and provide recommendations for improvement to management
  • You are an agile sales person. You will have growing/pilot responsibilities that include, but are not limited to, new verticals; ad sales; cannabis; etc. and compensation can be tied to these initiatives


What You Bring to the Table

  • Requirement to live in the assigned CBSA territory
  • Maintain minimum average of 160% to quota with no quota strikes or behavioral strikes in a 12 month period
  • Excellent research skills. It is expected that you can talk about each opportunity, and it's position in your pipeline/next steps/previous relationship and activity details
  • Excellent track record of presenting and selling in person, and have the ability to overcome pre-live, onboarding, and post live objections with impactful, product based solutions
  • Dynamic personality who possesses a positive attitude and desire to have a significant impact on both our restaurant experience and overarching company goals
  • Thrive in a competitive team environment. You are willing to try new ideas, and willing to share what is working with your peers in weekly meetings
  • Coach-ability. We will engage in an entirely new sales process, and we need to stay agile in our approach to demonstrate a commitment to our partners
  • Ability to think strategically and make sound judgment to plan to achieve goals
  • Salesforce proficient and detail oriented
  • Effective communication skills, experience leading inter-department communication a major plus
