Job Description
• Retention and Penetration: Retain assigned accounts. Identify innovative product solutions to ensure all selling opportunities are met. Articulate HCSC’s value proposition.
• Account Strategy and Analytics: Maintain deep understanding of client’s business strategy to guide research, utilization reports, and other analytics to develop recommendations to meet customer needs. Define core health plan designs, wellness strategy programs and initiatives, and client care and medical management strategy programs and initiatives.
• Opportunity Planning: Proactively provide customer reports based on customer and industry experiences, leading industry trends and best practices, and benchmark data to help identify innovative product solutions and cross-selling opportunities. Maintain Salesforce pipeline for reporting.
• Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong partnerships with assigned clients and consultants. Serve as the key client facing partner, guiding clients on balancing costs with long-term group health strategy.
• Client Meetings: Participate in quarterly finance meetings with clients; includes identifying and collaborating with key HCSC SMEs.
Required Job Qualifications:
* Bachelor degree and 4+ years experience in Healthcare Account Management OR 8+ years experience in Healthcare Account Management
* Current state agent insurance license or obtain within 90 days
* Proven track record of building and maintaining relationships in complex accounts
* Sales negotiation and conflict management skills
* Knowledge of health insurance industry, products, market trends and competitive landscape
* Analytical skills and presentation skills
