Calloway Corporation is a member of the GCG Group which operates in 22 countries across the US, Caribbean, Central and South America. We are seeking to recruit a passionate, skilled, and highly motivated individual to join the team in the capacity of Storeroom Supervisor. This role offers an opportunity to support our Catering and all other entities.

As the Storeroom Supervisor, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and coordinating the daily operations of the storeroom. This includes overseeing the purchasing, receiving, storing, and issuing of goods from both local and international vendors to ensure efficient delivery to internal customers.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to:
  • Coordinate departmental activities using Lean Manufacturing tools to ensure timely completion and customer satisfaction.

  • Ensure ingredients are delivered to Production per requisitions, checking quality and quantity (meats, poultry, fish, cheeses, etc.).

  • Manage vendor quotations based on quality, pricing, and consistency; negotiate contracts in line with GCG Procurement policies.

  • Maintain appropriate stock levels and implement strict FIFO rotation and HACCP compliance.

  • Reconcile stock daily and conduct physical inventories every 10 days; prepare monthly inventory prior to month-end.

  • Monitor temperatures of all refrigeration units and ensure compliance with HACCP standards.

  • Source, evaluate, and order supplies (including for private jets) in coordination with chefs or supervisors.

  • Ensure all goods are properly labeled, stored, and monitored for expiration and cross-contamination risks.

  • Manage procurement including PO preparation, invoice verification, and tracking of shipments.

  • Ensure efficient offloading of containers and manage food waste and spoilage.

  • Submit timely and accurate documentation, including requisitions, invoices, and inventory logs.

  • Lead the storeroom team through training, evaluations, shift briefings, and performance management.

  • Maintain neat, clean, and organized storage areas in compliance with company and safety standards.

ACADEMIC & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
  • Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in inventory or storeroom management, preferably in a food or hospitality environment.

  • Familiarity with procurement practices and vendor management.

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory management software.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to lead and manage a team effectively.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Ability to inspect storage areas and lift goods as needed.
