The Role

Job Overview: Storeroom Implementation Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and hands-on Storeroom Implementation Specialist to lead and support the rollout of storeroom solutions across multiple sites. This role requires 40-60% travel to diverse worksites with physically demanding conditions including routine heavy lifting and extended periods standing or walking in hot and potentially dirty environments. The ideal candidate will bring strong MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations) commodity knowledge, advanced proficiency in Excel, and proven project management skills to effectively coordinate storeroom setup and optimization projects. You will serve as a critical resource ensuring storerooms meet operational needs and sustain inventory accuracy and availability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute storeroom implementation and optimization projects at multiple locations.
  • Manage and coordinate project schedules, resources, and deliverables.
  • Perform routine heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks in challenging environmental conditions.
  • Utilize deep MRO commodity expertise to ensure proper classification and storage strategies.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and reporting using Excel and related tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including procurement, maintenance, and site leadership.

Qualifications:

  • Strong experience with MRO commodity management.
  • Advanced Excel skills for data analysis, inventory tracking, and reporting.
  • Demonstrated project management capabilities.
  • Ability to travel 40-60% of the time.
  • Comfortable working on your feet for long periods in hot, dirty environments.
  • Physically capable of routine heavy lifting.
