About the role
Team Global Express are seeking an experienced Inventory Storeperson to join our modern workshop at Perth Airport. This role plays a key part in supporting our operations by ensuring efficient management of parts, stock, and workshop inventory.
Location & Details
Location: Perth Airport, WA
Hours: Monday to Friday, 4:00 PM – 4:00 AM (11.5-hour shifts + 30-min lunch break)
Hours are flexible and will be discussed during the interview
Rate: $44.39 per hour + 15% superannuation
Role Type: Full-time, Permanent
Key Responsibilities
Manage store inventory, ensuring safe, efficient, and secure storage of all parts and tools
Order parts cost-effectively while maintaining quality standards
Process incoming parts, invoices, and job cards accurately
Handle phone and email enquiries and general clerical duties
Maintain accurate records for all stock movements, tools, and PPE
Pick up and deliver parts as required
Minimise obsolete stock and ensure approvals for all major purchases
Support the workshop team with ad hoc tasks and maintain strong communication with team leaders and management
Identify and report workplace hazards in a timely and responsible manner
About You
Previous experience in a stores or inventory role, ideally within transport, logistics, or automotive workshop environments
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Good communication and computer literacy (Microsoft Office, data entry, etc.)
Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently
Licences
Valid C Class Driver’s Licence – required
Forklift Licence (LF) – desirable
HC Licence- desirable
