The Role
We are seeking a reliable, organised, and proactive Storeperson to join our CMS Engineering team in Perth.
In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the efficient operation of our warehouse and workshop, including inventory control, goods receipt, tool and equipment management, deliveries, and general logistics. You will work closely with technicians, supervisors, project teams, and administration to ensure the parts, tools, equipment, and materials required for service and project delivery are available when needed.
 
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who takes pride in maintaining a safe, clean, organised, and efficient working environment.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Receiving, inspecting, recording, storing, and retrieving incoming goods
  • Managing inventory and maintaining accurate stock and transaction records
  • Managing company tools, equipment, ladders, and other assets, including sign-in and sign-out records
  • Preparing and staging parts, materials, tools, and equipment for technicians and project teams
  • Loading and unloading vehicles and coordinating deliveries, pickups, and site deliveries
  • Assisting with stock ordering, parts purchasing, and raising purchase orders
  • Managing refrigerant stock, usage records, cylinders, and associated storage requirements
  • Supporting workshop vehicle allocations and other fleet-related requirements as directed
  • Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe warehouse and workshop, including waste disposal and general housekeeping
  • Providing practical support to technicians and project teams, including occasional supervised onsite assistance where required
 
Your Skills, Experience & Attributes
  • Minimum two years’ experience in a storeperson, warehouse, stores, logistics, or similar role
  • Current manual driver’s licence – essential
  • White Card – essential
  • Strong organisational, inventory control, and time management skills
  • Good computer literacy, including experience using stock management or ordering systems
  • Ability to safely load, unload, and move tools, equipment, and materials
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with technicians, supervisors, project teams, suppliers, and administration
  • A proactive, reliable, team-focused, and safety-conscious approach
  • Full working rights in Australia – essential
  • Experience within a mechanical, HVAC, construction, trade, facilities maintenance, or technical services environment will be highly regarded. A forklift licence and familiarity with tools, equipment, refrigerants, purchasing, or workshop operations would also be advantageous.
