Our client, who is a solar energy and renewable solutions company, is seeking a reliable and professional storekeeper to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the inventory and storage of solar equipment, tools, and materials, while ensuring accurate stock levels, timely issuance, and proper documentation. This position plays a key role in supporting daily project operations and maintaining an organized, safe, and compliant warehouse environment.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure regular stock updates.
- Conduct frequent inventory audits and report any discrepancies.
- Monitor stock levels and work closely with the procurement team to avoid stock outs.
- Process stock issuance requests accurately and ensure timely dispatch to project sites.
- Maintain a clean, organized warehouse in line with company layout standards.
- Label and tag all items properly to ensure correct identification and minimize item misplacement.
- Enforce warehouse safety standards and ensure safe handling of batteries and hazardous materials.
- Prepare and submit timely and accurate inventory and warehouse reports.
- Use inventory management software and maintain up-to-date system records.
- Respond promptly to the needs of the project team and support efficient warehouse operations.
- Maintain excellent attendance and demonstrate a high level of reliability and teamwork.
Requirements
- Diploma or Certificate in Store keeping, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related technical field.
- Secondary school certificate required at minimum.
- At least 2 years of experience in store keeping or inventory control.
- Prior experience managing technical or solar-related inventory is an added advantage.
- Familiarity with basic procurement procedures and warehouse workflows.
- Proficiency in using inventory management systems such as Excel, QuickBooks, or Zoho.
Skills Required
