The Storekeeper – Interior Fit-Out is responsible for managing the receipt, storage, issuance, and inventory control of construction materials, tools, equipment, and consumables required for interior fit-out projects. The role ensures proper stock management, accurate inventory records, timely material issuance, and compliance with company procedures to support uninterrupted project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and record incoming materials, tools, equipment, and consumables against purchase orders and delivery notes.
- Verify the quantity, quality, and condition of materials received and report any discrepancies or damages.
- Organize and store materials safely in designated storage areas to prevent damage and facilitate easy retrieval.
- Issue materials, tools, and equipment to project sites based on approved material requisitions.
- Maintain accurate stock records and update inventory transactions in the ERP or inventory management system.
- Conduct regular stock counts and periodic inventory audits to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the Procurement team for timely replenishment of materials.
- Track the movement of materials between the warehouse and project sites.
- Ensure proper labelling, identification, and storage of all materials.
- Maintain records of goods received notes (GRNs), delivery notes, material issue vouchers, and return notes.
- Coordinate with project teams regarding material requirements, shortages, and delivery schedules.
- Monitor the condition and maintenance of warehouse equipment and storage facilities.
- Ensure proper housekeeping, cleanliness, and organization of the warehouse.
- Implement safe storage practices and ensure compliance with HSE policies and procedures.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory and stock movement reports.
