Job Duties and Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced IT Infrastructure Systems Administrator to join our dynamic team. This role will primarily focus on the design, implementation, and maintenance of our enterprise storage solutions. Secondarily, this position will involve the administration and support of our Linux server environment. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of storage technologies and protocols, coupled with strong Linux administration skills. This individual will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, availability, and performance of our critical data storage and server infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and manage enterprise-level storage solutions (SAN/NAS) and Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) server environments
- Monitor storage and server systems for performance and capacity, perform proactive maintenance, and troubleshoot complex hardware and software issues
- Manage and maintain comprehensive data protection and disaster recovery solutions, including backups, replication, and snapshots
- Develop shell scripts to automate repetitive system tasks and maintain detailed Fulfill storage and server requests, manage user access and permissions, and collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless system integration and documentation for all system architectures, configurations, and procedures
Skills, Experience and Requirements
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise storage administration
- 3+ years of experience in Linux system administration (RHEL, CentOS, etc.)
Skills and Qualifications:
- In-depth knowledge of storage protocols such as Fibre Channel, NFS, and CIFS
- Proficiency with storage virtualization and software-defined storage (SDS) concepts
- Experience with backup and recovery software such as Dell Networker, Comvault Clumio and NetApp BlueXP
- Experience with Disaster Recovery planning and associated tools
- Strong scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python, PowerShell)
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware vSphere)
- Solid understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)

Salary Ranges
Compensation: $110,100.00/Year - $130,000.00/Year
