About the Role:
At DeepSource Technologies, we are looking for a detail-oriented Storage Engineer to join our multinational partner. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the maintenance of storage systems that meet the business's needs while ensuring optimal performance and data integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, install, and configure storage solutions, including SAN and NAS technologies.
- Monitor storage performance and conduct routine maintenance to maximize efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and resolve storage-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Implement data backup and recovery solutions to safeguard company data.
- Work closely with IT teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions that meet operational demands.
- Document storage architecture, configurations, and best practices for future reference.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience as a Storage Engineer or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of storage technologies such as SAN, NAS, and object storage.
- Experience with storage management tools and performance monitoring solutions.
- Familiarity with data backup and disaster recovery procedures.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
