Thales Services works on outsourcing operations for more than sixty costumers. Our activity is based on the MRO, development of the IT to support applications, transformation of existing applications to the cloud, secure hybrid outsourcing, apply security audits on platforms and plan remediation.
Job summary
As a Storage Administrator, you are seen by the members of your Storage & Backup team to be not only a pillar of strength but a source of motivation and inspiration as well. You should be someone whom is savvy with Storage System and have worked with systems and network teams to help them build up strong and robustness storage infrastructure. You have prior managing system experience before you adopted Storage as this experience would allow you to quickly understand the needs of stability, safety for all stacks of cloud or hybrid platforms. You should expect the role to be part of a global effort to support our customers on their IT. You should be someone who is passionate about automating, trouble-shooting, robustness and reliability, trouble-shooting network and system configuration, monitor and manage storage systems.
Working as a Storage/Back-up Administrator:
- Work in Storage/Backup Team as an active member able to manage all the systems problem of storage infrastructure.
- Platform storage administration, storage system update.
- Monitor platforms and act anticipatively.

What we expect from you, to have:
- Significant experience in Storage systems
- Working knowledge of Hitachi Vantara Storage, Dell/EMC² Storage, NetApp, Brocade SAN, Red Hat CEPH
- CI/CD Knowledge: Scripting, automation, monitoring
- Experience working with backup solution Netbackup, IBM TSM, Veeam
- Hands-on experience with Windows, Linux, VMWare, KVM, Solaris, Citrix
- Able to configure Storage tools and basic services administration
- Proficient with SAN, NAS and Object Storage platform.
Would be a plus:
- One or more system-level programming languages like BASH, ZSH, Python, Ruby.
