This is NOT a remote position. Applicants must be able and willing to commute to the office in Amarillo, Texas.
A Stop Loss Coordinator will be the primary assistant to the Account Coordinator and Sales Team during the marketing process for renewals business opportunities.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Monitors general intake box
Builds/Maintains Renewal Folders
Responds to requests for quote within 1 business day
Maintains marketing/proposal timeline
Responds in a timely manner to agent and carrier requests
Build Renewal RFP’s and identify/communicate lacking information
Complete follow up emails to carrier that have not quoted within the requested timeframe
Identify ideal quote options / communicate competition as applicable
Data entry of all source quotes for multiple groups and carriers with minimal error
Build proposals with minimal errors
Maintain/update Prospecting templates
Assist with tracking of agent/carrier/area/PPO specific requirements
Qualifications include:
HS Diploma or equivalent
Displayed timeliness
Displayed ability to meet deadlines and work under high pressure
Strong multitasking skills with an ability to prioritize multiple prerogatives
Displayed professional communication (oral and written).
Displayed confidence in understanding and communicating resources available
Experience in Microsoft Office software, with an emphasis on Excel and Outlook
Must be able to work in an office environment using computers, phones, and office appliances and lifting up to 20 pounds with reasonable accommodations.
