Mō te tūranga | About the role
We’re looking for an STMS to lead safe, practical, and well-run traffic management across our worksites. This is a hands-on role where you’ll take the lead on temporary traffic management, support crews on the ground, and help bring the risk-based approach under NZGTTM to life in the field.
At Fulton Hogan, Good Work starts with people who know how to stay calm, think ahead, and switch on when it counts. You’ll work closely with site teams to plan, adapt, and deliver traffic management that keeps road users, crews, and the public safe. If you’re someone who backs high standards, values safety, and likes being part of a team that’s friendly, and serious when it counts, this could be your next move.

- Work closely with site supervisors and crews to keep works running smoothly, safely, and in line with current traffic management requirements.
- Take part in pre-starts, support strong on-site communication, and push pause when something is not safe.
- Identify, report, and help eliminate hazards, incidents, near misses, and opportunities to improve how we work.
