Position OverviewWe are seeking a Stewarding Supervisor to support the daily operations of our culinary and stewarding team. This role ensures all kitchen and back-of-house areas meet the highest standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and organization in alignment with Westin and Marriott brand expectations.
You will lead and support stewarding associates, ensuring efficient operations that contribute to a seamless and exceptional guest experience.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise daily stewarding operations including dishwashing and kitchen sanitation
- Lead, coach, and support stewarding associates to maintain efficiency and quality
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of all kitchen and back-of-house areas
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment
- Conduct routine inspections to ensure standards are met
- Support scheduling based on business needs
- Collaborate with Culinary and F&B leaders to support smooth operations
- Adhere to and uphold company attendance and punctuality standards, ensuring reliability and consistent coverage to support operational needs
- 2+ years of stewarding, kitchen, or hospitality experience
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of sanitation and safety practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs
- Ability to work in a kitchen environment with heat, moisture, and cleaning chemicals
$21.00 – $24.75 per hour
Actual compensation is based on experience, qualifications, and business needs.
