To continue this incredible adventure, we are currently looking for a motivated Steuerfachwirt(in), full-time for our Finance team at our Berlin HQ (3 days per week).
🎯 What you will contribute:
- Support tax compliance across multiple European jurisdictions, ensuring timely and accurate VAT, corporate tax, and other filings.
- Assist in preparing tax reports, reconciliations, and documentation for audits.
- Work with internal stakeholders and external advisors to ensure compliance with international tax regulations.
- Research tax laws and changes to provide insights and recommendations for the business.
- Support the optimization of tax processes, including establishing further documentation and manuals, and implementing automation where possible.
- Assist with tax-related inquiries from various departments, ensuring smooth cross-functional collaboration.
- Maintain proper tax records and ensure all relevant documentation is up to date.
🤝 What you bring:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics, or an apprenticeship/qualification as Steuerfachangestellte(r)
- 1-3 years of experience in German tax, preferably within a tax advisory or scale-up environment.
- Basic knowledge of VAT, corporate tax, and international tax principles.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- A proactive and hands-on approach, with a willingness to learn in a fast-moving environment.
- Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with accounting/tax software (SAP) is a bonus.
- Excellent communication skills in English and German (C1 at a minimum).
