We are looking for a talented engineer to join our team and play a crucial role in developing innovative projects and supporting classroom activities.
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly motivated and creative STEM Engineer to support our educational programs. The primary focus of this role is to **design and develop new projects** for students, provide **technical assistance** to teachers, and help facilitate classroom activities. The ideal candidate should have expertise in **coding, 3D printing, Fusion 360, and circuit design**, with a strong passion for STEM education. Applicants should be able to demonstrate their skills by providing a portfolio of projects they have designed and built.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop engaging STEM projects for students of various age groups.
- Support teachers by providing technical expertise and troubleshooting assistance.
- Assist in the classroom to ensure students can successfully complete hands-on projects.
- Use 3D printing, CNC machines, and laser cutting to fabricate project components.
- Develop CAD designs using Fusion 360 for educational projects.
- Design and prototype electronic circuits for student projects.
- Teach students basic technical skills related to coding, robotics, and circuit design.
- Research and implement new technologies to enhance learning experiences.
- Ensure the proper maintenance and functionality of lab equipment.
- Document project designs and create instructional materials for students and teachers.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related STEM field.
- Strong proficiency in coding (Python, Arduino, or similar).
- Experience with 3D printing, including slicing software and printer maintenance.
- Proficiency in Fusion 360 for CAD design and prototyping.
- Experience with circuit design and PCB development is a plus.
- Familiarity with CNC machines, laser cutters, and other fabrication tools.
- Ability to develop innovative and educational STEM projects.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
- Passion for education and working with students in a hands-on learning environment.
- Fluency in English and Arabic (both spoken and written).
- Applicants must submit a portfolio showcasing projects they have designed and built.
