Scholars International Language School is seeking to appoint an innovative and enthusiastic STEM Coordinator for the 2026/27 academic year. The successful candidate will lead the development and delivery of an engaging STEM programme, promoting creativity, critical thinking, problem-solving, and innovation across the school while inspiring students and supporting colleagues in embedding STEM into the curriculum.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate the school's STEM programme and initiatives.
- Develop engaging, cross-curricular STEM learning opportunities.
- Support teachers in integrating STEM across the curriculum.
- Organise STEM events, competitions, clubs, and enrichment activities.
- Monitor the impact of STEM provision and recommend improvements.
- Promote the effective use of educational technology and resources.
- Keep up to date with developments in STEM education and share best practice.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant subject and a recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching a STEM-related subject.
- Proven leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
- Passion for innovation and developing high-quality STEM education.
- Experience in an international or British curriculum school is desirable.
