Description
Reports to: Director of Metals Operations
Position Summary: Perform steel specific project management from point of sale to jobsite delivery and closeout. Managing subcontractors and material vendors; ability to work in a fast-paced environment requiring quick decisions.

Accountabilities and Duties:
- Provide accurate estimates for materials, labor, and equipment.
- Prepare bids and proposals.
- Manage shop drawings and transmittals with detailing, clients, and subcontractors.
- Work with fabrication personnel to understand job flow and production constraints.
- Assist Master Scheduler with production scheduling to achieve desired client deliverables.
- Attend client meetings to understand scope, schedule, and other meaningful information.
- Support in issuing sub-contracts and purchase orders as necessary to secure services for a project(s).

- Complete administrative project management duties for project(s) as needed.

- Management of sub-fabrication partners post sale.

Requirements
Qualifications:
Knowledge and Skills: Project management and leadership, including estimating and scheduling skills, ideally in the steel fabrication industries. Highly organized and results-driven with great problem-solving skills. Advanced communication, conflict management and relationship navigation skills critical.
Education: Bachelor's degree from 4-year college/university or equivalent experience.
Experience: 3 years or more of related work experience preferred
