GET AN IMPRESSION OF THE TEAM
We are looking for a results-driven Statutory Financial Reporting Manager to join our finance team. Reporting to the Senior Statutory Financial Reporting Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring compliance with statutory reporting requirements across our operations in Europe and the Middle East. As part of the finance team in our newly established office in Wroclaw, you will be responsible for coordinating the preparation and audit of financial statements, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to regulatory standards.
THE ROLE AND YOUR IMPACT
- Lead the preparation and audit of statutory financial statements across multiple jurisdictions.
- Ensure compliance with local accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external accounting firms / auditors to streamline reporting processes and to expedite the filing of financial statements.
- Provide financial expertise and guidance on statutory financial reporting matters to senior management and other business stakeholders.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Support the implementation and enhancement of ERP systems and financial tools, driving process improvements and standardization.
- Ensure compliance with group policies, controls and procedures.
- Manage relationships and contracts with external auditors and accounting firms.
- Stay up to date with changes in financial reporting and standards and regulations.
YOU’LL FIT GREAT WITH THESE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Experience:
- Qualified accountant with 6+ years post-qualification experience in preparing/auditing statutory financial statements in multiple reporting environments and directly managing their audits.
- Responsibility to directly manage audits with external auditors.
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (ACCA or equivalent).
- Experience with ERP systems (Oracle NetSuite is an advantage).
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and local GAAP reporting requirements.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and with auditors, including senior stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience in managing processes effectively in a geographically dispersed organisation.
- Positive attitude and proactive mindset with a hands-on, results-driven approach.
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to work independently.
Language & Location:
- Based in Wroclaw or ready to relocate.
- Fluent in English; other languages are an advantage.
