We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented FinOps Engineer to join our growing Cloud & DevOps team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in driving cloud cost optimization, automation, and operational excellence across AWS environments. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to build scalable infrastructure, streamline CI/CD processes, and ensure financial accountability in the cloud.
Key ResponsibilitiesImplement and manage FinOps practices to optimize cloud costs, utilization, and performance across AWS environments.
Design, automate, and maintain infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using CloudBees/Jenkins to enable efficient and reliable deployments.
Monitor and analyze AWS cost data, generate reports, and provide actionable insights for cost optimization.
Ensure cloud governance and tagging standards are implemented for accurate cost tracking and chargebacks.
Manage AWS infrastructure components such as S3, EC2, IAM, CloudWatch, VPC, Route 53, CloudTrail, ELB, and Auto Scaling.
Utilize version control tools (e.g., Git) to maintain code integrity and collaboration.
Collaborate with development, operations, and finance teams to align technology usage with business objectives.
Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in Cloud FinOps and cloud financial management.
Strong proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure automation.
Proven experience in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins/CloudBees.
Deep understanding of AWS services including S3, EC2, IAM, CloudWatch, VPC, Route 53, CloudTrail, ELB, and Auto Scaling.
Experience with version control tools such as Git or Bitbucket.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
FinOps or AWS certifications.
Experience with cloud cost management tools such as AWS Cost Explorer, CloudHealth, or Cloudability.
Scripting skills (Python, Bash, or PowerShell) for automation and reporting.
