Job Purpose
We are seeking an experienced State Manager (Landside) to join our team, based in Yennora NSW. In this role, you will provide both strategic and operational leadership to deliver our Landside Logistics strategy, drive strong financial performance, strengthen customer partnerships, and champion a safety-first culture.
Additionally, you will be responsible for the overall performance of Landside Logistics operations across New South Wales, leading a high-performing team while ensuring accountability for safety, operational excellence, customer service and financial outcomes. Working closely with national leaders, you will help deliver consistent service, drive continuous improvement and support broader business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Landside Logistics operations across New South Wales, delivering safe, efficient and customer-focused services
Provide strategic and operational leadership to deliver the Landside Logistics strategy and achieve state and national objectives
Build and maintain a high-performing team culture focused on safety, people development, financial performance and continuous improvement
Drive accountability for operational and commercial performance through KPI management and collaboration with national leaders
Coach and develop operational leaders while driving business improvement, operational capability and customer satisfaction
Qualifications, Skills and Experience required:
- Senior management experience in container logistics sector, with a proven track record of driving growth and profitability
- Experience leading commercial operations, IT systems, and medium-to-large scale projects
- Strong commercial acumen with a history of achieving sustained business performance and outcomes
- Expertise in analysing data and trends to develop and implement strategies that optimise operations
- Proven ability to lead transformational change, drive innovation, and improve processes
- Highly self-motivated leader, committed to company growth and achieving strategic objectives
