WHERE DOES THIS ROLE FIT IN BIGGER PICTURE:


As State Lead – System Adoption, you will lead the design, execution, and scale-up of large-scale projects in collaboration with government education systems. You will translate vision into actionable plans, coordinate stakeholders, manage resources, and ensure the adoption of Medha’s programs into state and institutional frameworks.


This role is at the intersection of policy implementation, program delivery, and relationship management—ensuring that strategic MoUs translate into measurable outcomes.


WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:


Strategic Planning, Execution & Monitoring

  • Translate vision and objectives into clear execution roadmaps with measurable milestones.
  • Develop strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing program visibility and raising awareness.
  • Oversee timely delivery of project goals, track progress, and communicate updates to stakeholders.
  • Troubleshoot bottlenecks, manage interdependencies, and ensure alignment across teams.

Government & Stakeholder Relationship Management

  • Build and nurture trust-based relationships with senior government officials, institutional heads, and partner organizations.
  • Represent Medha in high-level meetings, steering committees, and review forums.
  • Align evaluation strategy with program design, government priorities, and donor needs.

Strategic Decision-Making & Risk Management

  • Use data-driven insights to guide course corrections and process improvements.
  • Anticipate risks, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure compliance with partner and donor requirements.

Resource & Budget Oversight

  • Allocate budgets and resources effectively to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture, promoting knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure optimal utilization of resources and adherence to financial protocols.


WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • Proven experience managing large-scale, multi-stakeholder projects—preferably in the public or education sector.
  • Strong understanding of public policy, government systems, and program implementation.
  • Ability to distill complex objectives into actionable plans.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proactive problem-solver who anticipates challenges and acts decisively.
  • Detail-oriented with strong documentation and reporting abilities.
