Overview:
The State and Local Tax Senior Associate assists client with managing local sales and use tax accurately and effectively, and adding value to businesses.

Responsibilities:
Assists client with managing and preparing sales and use tax returns and supporting documents
Mentor Staff and Interns
Work overtime during busy season and as required
Travel is limited, although some overnight travel may be required.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting required
3+ years of forward-thinking experience in public accounting or corporate/public blend.
CPA or eligibility to sit for CPA required
Exceptional candidates will demonstrate:
Master’s degree in Taxation or LLM
Sales and Use Tax experience required
Strong time management and organizational skills
Ability to grow strong team relationships
Effectively communicate verbally and in writing both internally and externally
Thomson Reuters ONESOURCE Indirect Tax experience preferred.
Job location - Hyderabad (Hybrid)
