You will work closely with direct customers, helping to expand their portfolios and cultivate growth.. Your goal is to deliver the highest level of sales experience, build and pursue new sales opportunities to achieve outstanding financial results.

  • Drive sales growth of LGC Standards' portfolio of reference materials and analytical standards.
  • Identify business opportunities within the APAC region.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, encouraging trust and dedication.
  • Understand customer needs and effectively communicate the value of our products.
  • Work collaboratively with the APAC Commercial Team and report directly to the Sales Manager, Commercial APAC.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, preferably in Chemistry or Biochemistry.
  • Proven track record in sales, preferably with experience in selling products or services.
  • Proficiency in Korean and English are a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong team player with a passion for business development.

  • Identify and pursue sales opportunities with direct transactional accounts to drive portfolio and revenue growth.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing focus accounts to foster trust and loyalty.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the entire LGC Standards product portfolio, across
  • all end-markets (Pharma, Biotech, Environmental, etc.) including features, benefits, and competitive advantages, to effectively communicate their value to customers.
  • Conduct engaging and informative presentations, highlighting the benefits and suitability of products or services to meet customers’ needs.
  • Use LGC’s sales tools to manage prospects, existing accounts, opportunities, and pipeline, and to forecast in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Responsible for periodically collecting and analysing information on the top transactional accounts, to determine if they are eligible for segment promotion.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for business growth and adapt sales strategies accordingly.
  • Work closely with marketing team to maximise new product launches.
  • Liaise closely with internal colleagues to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Flexible individual with the right attitude to want to succeed in a commercial environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Enthusiastic with a positive and can-do attitude.
  • Ability to travel.
