What you will do:
- Design and deliver effective training programs using blended learning methods, including coaching and resource development.
- Lead change initiatives, influence cross-functional teams, and communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Uphold and model journalistic ethics, standards, and Bloomberg Industry Group style in all editorial work.
- Produce high-quality writing, reporting, and editing under deadline pressure and across multiple projects.
- Drive talent and performance management to meet editorial standards and business objectives.
- Foster collaboration and maintain strong organizational and interpersonal relationships.
- Provide exceptional service to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Set high performance standards and lead by example.
You need to have:
- A minimum of 10 years of journalism experience, with 3+ years’ experience in training and development, staff mentorship, team leadership, or a similar role.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective training programs using blended methodologies e.g., e-learning, classroom, and one-on-one coaching.
- Demonstrated effective capabilities in managing change, influencing others, and communicating at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to work effectively in a matrixed environment with multiple projects, shifting priorities, and deadline pressure.
- Bachelor’s degree with coursework in English, journalism, or related field of study.
- Demonstrated excellent writing, reporting, and editing skills.
- Excellent organization, collaboration and interpersonal skills.
