The Role

Job Responsibilities:

  • Create and manage efficient processes to responsively and proactively develop, maintain, and curate project plans

  • Generate and implement strategies to improve team productivity and efficiency

  • Address requests from internal teams to create resources that illustrate the alignment of Lexia's professional learning products to standards and state/district requirements

  • Develop and update standard language for PL products to support requests from the Bids and Proposals team

  • Collaboratively work with the Standards and Alignments manager on project planning and work allocation

  • Serve as an expert around the pedagogy of Lexia’s professional learning products to support with alignment resource creation

  • Work with cross-functional colleagues including Literacy Education team subject matter experts, Bids and Proposals team coordinators, and vendors/contractors as needed

  • Plan duties, coordinate, and assist in the definition of project scope to ensure work of the Standards and Alignment team is completed efficiently and effectively

  • Establish milestones, anticipate issues, and monitor adherence to project scope, requirements, and schedules

  • Create and manage planning and tracking of resources to support the team’s implementation of projects

  • Finalize documents and publish resources for internal and external use

  • Maintain the organization of alignment resources on shared sites and ensure resources are kept up to date

  • Provide pedagogy and product expertise to support Bids and Proposals team in completing evaluation rubrics for state-level approvals and adoptions for professional learning products

  • Apply content-area expertise and market knowledge to respond to direct requests from sales team for customer-facing alignments and crosswalks

  • ​Monitor relevant bid opportunities and track all response requests

  • Supply content and assets to complete RFPs as needed

  • Answer questions from the field (customer support, direct sales questions, CSMs) specific to alignments and state/national standards

  • Assist the Curriculum Department on special projects as needed

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree required

  • Specialized training in project management with a minimum of 3+ years experience managing projects.

  • Knowledge of state and district requirements regarding Science of Reading and Professional Learning Standards

  • Experience using issue tracking tools to manage and schedule development tasks

  • Demonstrated experience managing projects and workflows, with a solid ability to lead projects and effectively engage with multiple stakeholders to achieve goals

  • Effective problem solving skills and keen attention to detail

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Adobe Software, and Sharepoint

  • Experience editing and assembling text documents

  • Working knowledge of Lexia professional learning products (LETRS, Aspire) preferred

  • Project management certification preferred
