We’re building a modern commercial insurance brokerage powered by technology and industry expertise. A big part of that is our AI assistant, which leverages emerging LLM techniques and patterns to help brokers work faster and smarter. We’re looking for an experienced engineer to help take QuoteWell to the next level. We’re looking for an experienced engineer who wants to make a direct impact on both product direction and business outcomes.
What You’ll DoBuild and own features in our all-TypeScript stack (React + Node)
Design and refine workflows that integrate an AI assistant into the broker experience
Work with Product, Design, and Data to translate user needs into incremental, testable solutions
Model complex insurance data and deliver intuitive, user-friendly tools
Collaborate in a remote-first, flexible, and accountable engineering culture
Experience shipping production code in a modern web stack
Strong skills in TypeScript, React, and Node (or very similar tech)
Comfort working across the full product lifecycle: scoping, testing, iterating with users
Interest in applied AI/LLM techniques, or eagerness to learn in that space
A generalist mindset and readiness to pick up new tools as needed
Ability to self-direct, collaborate, and solve problems creatively
Willingness to travel occasionally for team gatherings
Location: Austin, TX or Hybrid Remote. Our primary hub is located in Austin, TX, and we have remote employees across the United States. We offer flexible co-working arrangements in locations with multiple engineers.
