This role will oversee the staffing team for our Los Gatos and Bay Area North offices. This person will be expected to work out of our Los Gatos and Daly City office locations.

Job Summary / Purpose:
The Staffing Supervisor is responsible for providing high quality service delivery to our caregivers and the Clients
they support. The Staffing Supervisor supervises Staffing Manager staff; assisting them to reach their full potential
and have a successful employment experience. The Staffing Supervisor is responsible for maintaining detailed,
accurate records to support both the caregivers and the scheduling for the clients. The Staffing Supervisor is
focused on both tactical and strategic initiatives; including growth potential and maintaining revenue and gross
margin. The Staffing Supervisor will ensure proper training to their assigned Staffing Managers and will work with
the Training and development team on ongoing training of Staffing Managers. The Staffing Supervisor collaborates
with all members of the TheKey Team and with other managers/supervisors as needed.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The
requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
● Ensuring that the Staffing Managers are assigning the best caregiver for each job based upon relevant
factors including the client’s needs and goals and the caregiver’s personality, skill level, reliability, past
performance, availability, and geography.
● Providing one-on-one supervision to the Staffing Managers, including coaching, counseling, and,
ensuring that the Staffing Managers and the caregivers are fully prepared for assigned duties.
● Managing our Staffing Manager team, responding to their requests, providing leadership and support
where needed and ensuring that they are complying with our Policies and Procedures.
● Ensuring retention of our Staffing Managers by providing high-touch, white glove service and, going the
extra mile
● Proactively reaching out to the Staffing Managers to ensure each is faring well and to determine areas of
support needed; including scheduled check-in calls.
● Attracting new members of the team to TheKey by word of mouth and referrals to support monthly
recruiting team objectives.
● Recruiting, interviewing, screening and hiring new Staffing Managers.
● In collaboration and as directed by the Regional Staffing Director or other leaders communicating with
our clients and their families when applicable to ensure a positive and successful relationship.
● Ensuring the rate of pay caregivers receive is fair, consistent and aligned with gross profit.
● Ensuring that Staffing Managers have an appropriate level of staffing hours by ramping up new Staffing
Managers and creating a rotation for assignment.
● Focusing on Client retention by ensuring that Staffing Managers are proactively looking to create a
quality service experience
● Ensuring compliance with any applicable Labor or Home Care Regulations.
● Coordinating with our HR Team to ensure that proper protocols are in place for employee recognition,
employee discipline and warnings, employee termination, incident investigation and resolution, injury
and worker’s compensation management, use of paid sick time, and other HR issues.

● Supervising the provision of after-hours support for our clients and caregivers (including evenings and
weekends) – this support may include email, telephone and/or home visits. When needed, stepping in to
cover on-call rotations for Staffing Managers.
● As needed provide direct support for escalated problem resolution
● Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by your Supervisor.
Required Skills, Education and Certifications:
● Bachelor’s degree in a human or health services field preferred
● High school diploma
● 1-3 years of Management/Supervisory experience
● 1 -3 plus years of experience in health care, elder care, social work or related industry
● Excellent customer service and communication skills
● computer proficiency and ability to document timely and accurately in system
● Current driver’s license and proof of insurance (for incidental travel to client homes, recruiting venues,
training, etc.)
Physical Requirements:
● Ability to travel to client homes and other locations approximately 25% of the time
● Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds
● Ability to sit, stand and walk for prolonged periods of time throughout the work day
● Ability to use standard office equipment such as personal computer, laptop, telephone, photocopy
machine, etc.

Base Pay: $80-85k/annual
