What will you be doing?
Responsibilities :
- Tracks financial accuracy for 30+ small projects – Actual spending, forecasting, customer invoicing, etc.
- Works with multiple cross-functional teams to ensure project financials are correct and timely.
- Monitors weekly timecards and partner payments for 30+ resources.
- Works with outside partners on issues, credits, and invoices.
- Accurate and timely request of 30+ monthly customer invoices.
- Forecasts, with accuracy, project costs, revenue and end dates.
- Assists with and/or creates customer-facing Change Orders.
- Maintains and distributes multiple internal and customer-facing reports with accuracy and professionalism.
- Reviews and submits signed change orders in a timely manner
- Tracks documentation deliverables for multiple projects
- Gathers documentation from the customer
- Assists with or manage the oversight of all aspects of project life cycle to include initiation, planning, execution, controlling and closing; taking project through final implementation
- Must be familiar with project scope and project objectives, as well as the role and function of each team member, to effectively assist in coordinating the activities of the team
- Ensures timely and effective delivery of the solutions within scope and relative to desired objectives
- Follows best practices and ensures that all validation and quality requirements are met and documented
- Maintains Project Management standard best practices and methodologies to drive efficiency and consistency among projects
- Documents project risks, assumptions, and constraints and aid in implementing approved actions and workarounds designed to mitigate project risk events
- Monitors status of all identified risks in order to minimize the impact of the risks on the project
- Financial management of project budgets to ensure all budgets, forecasts and costs are measured, tracked and reported for project success
- Measures project performance using appropriate tools and techniques, identify and quantify variances and perform corrective actions with transparency to all stakeholders
- Documents measurement criteria for success with the help of Project Mangers or other Leads
- Assists in managing changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs
- Ensures that all issues are captured and resolved and that resolutions are documented and communicated
- Actively participates in project meetings and leads meetings if necessary
- Provides input regularly for status reports including portfolio reviews
