Job Purpose
Perform activities in the Medical Staffing area: screen, recruit, interview medical staff. Requires telephone conversations, use of electronic mail, contact with others face-to-face, by telephone, or otherwise. Face-to-face discussions with individuals or teams requires writing letters and memos.
Work Activities
- Evaluating Information to Determine Compliance with Standard Organizing, Planning, and Prioritizing work. Documenting/Recording Information Processing Information. Making Decisions and Solving Problems.
- Performing for or working directly with the public, Interview job applicants assess staff or applicant skill levels, investigate character of applicants ensure compliance with government regulations. Provide information about facilities, recruit contractors evaluate information from interviews.
- Provide excellent customer service, consult with clients concerning employment needs. Use computers to enter, access or retrieve data, prepare, or maintain records, evaluate applicant qualifications for placement and seek out applicants to fill assignments. Rate ability of applicant, implement recruiting procedures and select applicants meeting qualifications. use information from previous employers to determine applicant acceptability maintain cooperative relationships with clients and contractors.
Minimum Requirements
Two years of equivalent combinations of education and experience that provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities will be evaluated on an individual basis.
Hours
Monday through Friday; however, when scheduled, will be required to work on-call (evenings, weekends, and holidays). Coordinate and attend hiring seminars and conduct site visits as required.

Skills Required
- Two years of education and/or relevant experience
- Experience screening, recruiting, and interviewing medical staff
- Ability to evaluate applicant qualifications and ensure compliance with government regulations
- Strong written and verbal communication (telephone, email, face-to-face)
- Computer skills to enter, access, retrieve, and maintain records
- Customer service and client consultation skills
- Availability for on-call shifts (evenings, weekends, holidays) and travel for site visits/hiring seminars
