This role will be based in either our New Jersey or Atlanta office on a hybrid basis (2 days a week in-office, 3 days work from home). This role reports to the Staff Talent Acquisition Supervisor.
Position Summary:
The Staff Talent Acquisition Specialist will deliver high quality candidates by optimizing talent acquisition expertise to place business staff positions. This position will develop creative recruitment solutions including resume database mining and searching, social media, networking, college and alumni recruitment, and identifying new sourcing channels. You will be responsible for cultivating a superior candidate experience from first contact and throughout the hiring process, leveraging the GT brand at every opportunity. The role works collaboratively with local HR teams and Shared Services departments to deliver optimal talent solutions, and helps foster a robust social media recruitment strategy to develop a pipeline of candidates and enhance GT’s online recruiting presence.
Key Responsibilities:
Identifies and attracts potential candidates through various sourcing channels, including job boards, social media, networking, and referrals.
Develops and places job advertisements in various media outlets.
Maintains accurate candidate records and hiring processes within the firm’s applicant tracking system (ATS), Workday.
Organizes and conducts candidate searches on various resume databases.
Manages the candidate experience end-to-end from initial contact through hire.
Enhances GT’s presence online and build an ongoing talent pipeline.
Assesses applications and resumes, conduct initial interviews, schedule interviews, and keep hiring managers up to date throughout the process.
Ensures candidate, hiring manager, and recruiter experiences are met with exceptional service delivery.
Facilitates the hiring process and pre-employment activities, including preparing and negotiating offers and conducting background/reference checks.
Analyzes recruitment metrics and costs and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
Assists with other department activities as needed, and perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Education & Prior Experience
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in related field preferred.
Minimum five to seven years’ recruiting experience, preferably within a law firm or professional services environment.
LinkedIn Certification Professional a plus.
Experience developing and executing effective, creative, low-cost sourcing strategies.
Prior experience servicing remote customers a plus.
Technology
Highly skilled in use of applicant tracking systems, preferably Workday.
Computer proficiency in Windows-based software and Microsoft Office Suite applications, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
Exceptional computer skills with the ability to learn new software applications quickly.
Understanding of AI capabilities, limitations, and responsible use in a professional environment.
Familiarity with, or willingness to learn, firm-approved AI tools (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar platforms) to support daily workflow and/or improve work quality.
Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to move from workstation or desk throughout the work area to work independently or with a team to meet with colleagues or supervisor and retrieve work assignments.
This position may also be sedentary and require the employee to sit for extended periods of time.
Requires manual dexterity to use a phone, enter data into a computer, handle objects, and use office equipment.
The expected pay range for this position is:
$85,000 - $92,000 per year (range for New Jersey only)
Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience, location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. Full time employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, health insurance with an optional HSA, short term disability, long term disability, dental insurance, vision care, life insurance, Healthcare and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, 401K, vacation, sick time, and an employee assistance program. Commuter and Transit programs may also be available in certain markets.
