Work Setting: Remote, within commutable distance to Navy classified government networks like SIPRnet and JWICS, with some travel expected for meetings/conferences.

Knowledge Requirements: Experienced in the installation, test and repair of Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Combat and Intelligence (C5I) Systems onboard U.S. Navy Submarines; knowledgeable about supporting requirements for PEO C4I, CSRR, CANES, and SWTFS. Prior Program Manager experience a plus.
- Evaluates a wide range of problems in the development, deployment, and improvement of information systems, networks, equipment, and software applications;
- Identifies advances in automation technologies, state-of-the-art equipment, and applications for incorporation into existing and proposed electronic information systems
- Evaluates in-house and contracted systems designs, interfaces, and integration work for effectiveness in resolving complex information systems and engineering requirements; and
Directs or conducts studies on cost, interoperability, industry trends, performance, reliability, and functionality of systems and networks.

Security Clearance Requirement: Must be able to obtain and maintain Active DoD Top Secret clearance with access to SCI.

Let's talk salary. The annual salary range for this position is $140,000 to $205,000 based on your qualifications. We also offer a competitive benefits package and have fringe benefits offered throughout the year. The benefits package value ranges from $13,000 for a single employee, and up to $28,000 for an employee and their family. Still not convinced? Allow us to elaborate. For this opportunity, we are seeking a highly motivated, team-oriented Staff Systems Engineer. This exciting position will have the chance to work on just about any aspect there is as it pertains to Submarine New Construction for Columbia class.
What does this mean to you? We are seeking expertise in systems engineering and program management to support cross-SYSCOM initiatives and organizational summits for submarine capability builds. We need someone who can ensure PARM responsibilities are fully supported for integration of systems onboard new construction submarines. The ideal candidate will provide systems engineering support and assistance for new construction design changes, generate thought leadership and white papers, and serve as the primary liaison between Team Submarine and the PMW 770 program office.
Lastly, as we are working for the DoD, we are beholden to some requirements. The candidate must have a B.S. from accredited college or university in Systems Engineering, Reliability Engineering, Computer Science, or Engineering. The ideal candidate would already possess an active DoD Top Secret level clearance and SCI access.
