  • Championing both technical excellence and clinical effectiveness by ensuring products deliver meaningful value to healthcare providers and patients.

  • Partnering with multidisciplinary engineering teams to bring innovative technologies from concept into commercially successful medical imaging products.

This position may be a great fit if you have:

  • Hands-on experience integrating complex hardware and software systems.

  • Experience working across multidisciplinary teams in rapidly evolving technical environments.

  • The ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Experience developing and executing system-level verification and validation activities.

  • Experience performing system safety and risk analyses (FMEA, hazard analysis, or similar).

  • Experience leading technical discussions and influencing cross-functional teams.

  • A strong understanding of medical imaging systems, medical physics, or diagnostic imaging workflows.

  • Experience developing products within highly regulated industries such as medical devices, aerospace, automotive, or similar.

  • Familiarity with FDA 510(k), IEC 60601, ISO 14971, ISO 13485, or comparable regulatory standards is preferred.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Systems Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related engineering discipline.

  • 8+ years of engineering experience developing complex hardware and software products.

  • 5+ years of experience in systems engineering, product analysis, requirements engineering, or system architecture.

  • Strong background in complex system integration involving both hardware and software.

  • Experience defining, managing, and tracing system requirements throughout the product development lifecycle.

  • Knowledge of clinical diagnostic imaging workflows and healthcare environments is highly desirable.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and technical leadership skills.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience collaborating across global engineering organizations.

  • Self-motivated team player who is equally comfortable working independently and leading cross-functional initiatives.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative product development environment.

  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally on an occasional basis (less than 5%).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree (M.S. or Ph.D.) in an engineering or technical discipline.

  • Experience with diagnostic imaging systems (CT, MR, PET, SPECT, X-ray, Ultrasound) or other complex medical devices.

  • Experience with model-based systems engineering (MBSE), SysML, or similar systems engineering tools.
