Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for Staff Systems Architect (Systems Engineer) to join our team in El Segundo, CA.
Basic Qualifications:
- Must have a Bachelor of Science degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM) discipline AND 12 years of related professional/military experience OR a Master of Science degree in a STEM discipline AND 10 years of related professional/military experience, OR a STEM Ph.D. AND 8 years of related professional/military experience
- Must have the ability to obtain or maintain a U.S. Government Secret or higher clearance (with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation).
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance within a reasonable amount of time as determined by business needs.
- Must have familiarity with Systems Engineering.
- Requires up to 20% travel to multiple site locations as needed by the business to support its need.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Must have experience collaborating across engineering disciplines to architect, design, or implement complex systems.
- Must have experience in Model based Systems Engineering (MBSE).
- An active U.S. government Secret clearance or higher (with background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation).
- Demonstrated communication and technical writing skills.
- Proven ability to brief technical presentations to stakeholders.
- Experience in Aerospace Systems.
- Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or Software Engineering.
- Experience with Cameo Enterprise Architecture and the Systems Modeling Language (SysML).
