The Role

We are seeking a seasoned Mulesoft Lead to spearhead our API and integration efforts, manage end-to-end integration solutions, and drive API-led connectivity initiatives. As a Mulesoft Lead, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and managing robust integration frameworks to support our organization's digital transformation. This role requires deep expertise in Mulesoft and integration best practices, as well as experience leading a team to deliver scalable and efficient solutions.

What will you be doing?
As a Staff Software Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions. You will also be responsible for providing technical leadership, mentoring junior engineers, and driving innovation within the development team.

Responsibilities:

  • Integration Strategy and Design: Lead the design and architecture of complex integration solutions using Mulesoft Anypoint Platform, ensuring alignment with business requirements and technical standards.

  • Project Leadership: Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of integration projects, from planning and requirements gathering through design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.

  • Technical Guidance and Mentorship: Provide technical direction, mentorship, and guidance to the integration team, ensuring best practices, high code quality, and adherence to established standards.

  • API-Led Connectivity: Implement API-led connectivity by building reusable APIs and connectors to streamline and enhance integration capabilities across the organization.

  • Collaboration and Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Business Analysts, Project Managers, and QA, to define requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.

  • Solution Optimization: Analyze, optimize, and enhance integration processes and solutions to improve performance, scalability, and maintainability.

  • Documentation and Compliance: Ensure proper documentation, version control, and compliance with organizational policies and integration best practices.

  • Troubleshooting and Support: Oversee troubleshooting and resolution of complex integration issues, providing Level 3 support as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • Experience: Minimum of 8 years in software development and integration, with at least 5 years of hands-on experience in Mulesoft integration, and 3+ years in a leadership or lead developer role.

  • Technical Expertise:

    • Proficiency with Mulesoft Anypoint Platform, including API Manager, Runtime Manager, and Anypoint Studio.

    • Strong understanding of RESTful and SOAP APIs, along with RAML and JSON standards.

  • Integration Patterns: In-depth knowledge of enterprise integration patterns, best practices, and messaging systems.

  • Agile and DevOps: Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, Github Actions, and Maven.

  • Leadership Abilities: Proven track record of leading teams, managing stakeholders, and delivering complex integration projects on time and within scope.

  • Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex issues, propose solutions, and lead efforts to implement and resolve them.

  • Additional Skills: Knowledge of Salesforce integration, SAP connectors, and other enterprise systems.

  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Nice to have:  Knowledge in AWS Cloud and Python programming
