We are seeking an experienced Staff Engineer specializing in backend development to join our Tools & Data Science team.
Core Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in computer science (or related field) with 7+ years of experience, or 9+ years in a similar role.

5+ years of experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and Golang in public cloud environments (AWS preferred).

Expertise in NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, DynamoDB, Elasticsearch) and relational databases (e.g., MariaDB, MySQL).

Strong background in building scalable, reliable systems with test frameworks, monitoring, and alerting.

Skilled in UNIX/Linux command-line tools, CI/CD pipeline management.

Comfortable with a role focused on writing code (approximately 75% of the time).
Nice to Have

15+ years of experience in software engineering.

A language-agnostic approach to development.

Experience in full-stack development, including React.

Familiarity with event-driven workflows and schedulers (e.g., Apache Airflow).

Experience with container technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

Knowledge of AWS serverless tools (e.g., SQS, Lambda, Glue, Spark).
