Responsibilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative team environment.
- Be proactive in reaching out to stakeholders and mentors and deliver impactful functionality.
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable and high-performance APIs and backend systems.
- Expert in coding efficient, easily maintainable code, with a habit of adding extensive unit and integration tests.
- Strong in one or more programming languages (e.g., Typescript, Python, Java, or Rust. Typescript knowledge is a plus.)
- Strong experience with SQL and no SQL databases like Elastic Search and in data modeling.
- Hands-on experience with tools to identify back-end performance bottlenecks and improve them.
- Implement security best practices and procedures to protect sensitive data.
- Troubleshoot production issues and resolve customer issues.
- Add monitoring and alerting that can help identify production issues proactively.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, UX designers, QA engineers, and Customer support teams, to deliver high-quality software.
- Experience working with microservices architecture and containerized services.
- Experience working with popular cloud service providers.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
This role is a hybrid work model with 3 days/week in our Noida office.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 8-10 years of proven experience as a backend Software Engineer and 4 years in a Startup.
- Understanding of software development best practices, design patterns, and coding standards.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
- An individual with high technical aptitude, easy to get along with others, driven to learn new technologies, and deliver high-quality code.
