DUTIES : Contribute as a designer and developer to design, code, and release software for an Android, Linux, DSP, and DPS systems. Participate and advise in vendor discussions to guide future audio roadmap items and plans. Guide vendors towards optimal designs that match targeted hardware. Participate in the design, implementation, and integration of the DSP modules. Specific focus on design and implementation of Audio processing, Noise Management, Noise Cancellation, In-Car communication, Source Routing, TDM Routing, Upmixers, and Early-Audio Playback offloading to ARM SoC or neural networks. Participate in improving and maintaining upcoming Infotainment Software. Participate in feature requirements analysis and test-case design review. Participate in feature prototyping, testing, and refinement. Participate in improving and tailoring existing drivers and stack to our needs. Participate in and drive Audio Hardware bring-up activities including validation of low-level electrical systems. Provide guidance and as needed training to both junior and senior engineers on DSP Development. Provide clear and complete documentation based on the definition of the software development process. REQUIREMENTS : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field of study. Ten (10) years of experience as a Senior Software Engineer, Software Project Lead Software Engineer, Technical Specialist, Senior Software Design Engineer, Senior Member Technical Staff, Senior DSP Software Engineer, or related occupation. Or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field of study. Eight (8) years of experience as a Senior Software Engineer, Software Project Lead Software Engineer, Technical Specialist, Senior Software Design Engineer, Senior Member Technical Staff, Senior DSP Software Engineer, or related occupation. Eight (8) years of experience with the following: Designing and developing in C; DSP development; DSP Hardware including Hexagon, Dirana, or ADI; Object-oriented software development, and/or algorithms, and data structures; Low-level device tools including I2C analyzers and Oscilloscopes to analyze board layouts; and Theoretical and practical application of audio processing algorithms. Six (6) years of experience with the following: Large code bases, developing entirely new code and maintaining existing code; and Review of Hardware design and schematics. Three (3) years of experience with the following: Designing and developing in C++.
