As a Staff UI Engineer, you will lead the design and development of sophisticated, data-driven front-end applications with a focus on scalability, performance, and accessibility. You will play a key role in shaping our UI architecture, mentoring engineers, and driving cross-functional collaboration to deliver seamless, high-impact user experiences. You will be instrumental in evolving our engineering standards, tooling, and systems to support a high-performing front-end team.

Responsibilities:
Architect and implement dynamic, responsive, and accessible UI solutions for complex, data-intensive applications.
Design and build reusable component libraries and scalable UI systems, with a strong emphasis on maintainability and performance.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams—including UX, product, platform, and backend engineering—to influence design decisions and align UI strategy with business goals.
Champion front-end best practices, code quality, and accessibility standards across the organization.
Lead technical design reviews, guide architectural discussions, and help steer long-term technical vision for front-end development.
Act as a mentor and technical leader to other front-end engineers, supporting their growth and contributing to a culture of learning and excellence.
Lead cross-functional UI initiatives, driving technical direction and alignment at the team and organizational level.
Balance hands-on front-end development with high-level system design and architectural planning.
Mentor and support other engineers, fostering a culture of technical growth and excellence.
Collaborate closely with product managers and design teams to deliver cohesive, user-centered features.
Continuously improve UI performance, accessibility, and developer experience through scalable architecture and modern tooling.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s in Software Engineering, or a related technical field (or 12 + years equivalent practical experience).
8+ years of professional front-end development experience, with a strong portfolio of complex, data-driven web applications.
5 + Years in semantic HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript, while utilizing accessible, interactive UI patterns for tables, forms, charts, and visualizations.
3 + Years in React.js including component design patterns, hooks, state management, and performance optimization.
3 + years design systems and component-based architectures.
5 + years CI/CD best practices for Front End applications
1+ years React Testing Library, Playwright, or Cypress for end-to-end and unit testing.
2 + years in integrating with RESTful APIs securely and efficiently.
3 + years in transforming design assets from Figma, Sketch, or similar tools into pixel-perfect UI implementations.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Server-Side Rendering and static site generation using frameworks like Next.js or Nuxt.js.
Familiarity with modern CSS tools like Tailwind CSS, and an understanding of utility-first design.
Experience with data visualization libraries such as D3.js, Chart.js, Recharts or similar tools.
Contributions to open-source UI libraries or internal tooling.
