We are seeking a highly skilled Tech/Team Lead to join our dynamic team and focus on the Performance, Load, and Scalability aspects of our product. This role is critical in ensuring our services are robust, efficient, and scalable to meet our users' demands. The team is responsible for the core development of our product, creating comprehensive frameworks and libraries utilized by other product teams, which support and enhance the overall functionality and user experience.

What you'll be working on:

  • Technical Leadership & Core Development:
  • Participate in discussions, decomposition, evaluation, estimation, and planning of initiatives
  • Code writing and features implementation
  • Delivery ownership
  • Infrastructure cost calculation and architectural design
  • Collaboration with the unit members and other units/departments to deliver features
  • Take active participation in product incidents, research problems, and report improvements
  • Be responsible for technical metrics
  • Unit technical strategy development and participation in product strategy implementation
  • Writing tech documentation

  • People Management:
  • Hiring, guiding training, and supporting team growth
  • Reviewing how well employees do their jobs
  • Solving issues and resolving disagreements among staff
  • Presenting the team results to the Core Management

What we expect from you:

  • 5+ years of relevant work experience in software development and knowledge of at least two different programming languages
  • 2+ years of experience in people management
  • Must have experience with Node.js, MySQL, NoSQL, Typescript
  • Good understanding of algorithms and data structures
  • Development flows, CI/CD pipelines, Github Actions
  • Deep understanding of SOA principles and Web Services technologies (REST, GraphQL)
  • Test pyramid knowledge, experience writing unit tests
  • Experience with AWS, Kubernetes and Docker
  • Experience with Event Bus, e.g. RabbitMQ or Kafka
  • Experience in software architecture design
  • Ability to understand business requirements (functional and non-functional) and translate those into technical solutions
  • Experience in working with heavy-load projects
  • Experience in microservice architecture and its patterns
  • SDLC and Agile methodologies knowledge
  • Excellent knowledge of monitoring, logging, profiling, debugging, and tracing systems

Nice to have:

  • PHP/Go knowledge
  • Experience in GRPC
