Your Day to Day 

As a Staff Software Test Engineer (SDET), your main responsibilities would revolve around test planning, test automation, test execution, analysis, collaboration, and continuous improvement at GoTo. 

• Increase the bandwidth of team’s delivery speed by modernizing and maintaining test automation frameworks and test suits across various cross-functional teams. 

• Deeply understand our existing system and features. 

• You will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of software applications throughout the development lifecycle 

• Challenge continuously the "why" and how it serves customers. 

• As a staff SDET engineer in one of the ITSG teams you will actively participate in creating and implementing the testing strategy across teams 
   

What We’re Looking For 

As a Staff Software Test Engineer (SDET), your background will look like  

• 5-8 years of relevant, professional software testing experience and mentoring experience 

• Strong experience in one or more programming languages like Java, C#, JavaScript, HTML, CSS and has experience with Shadow DOM 

• Has in-depth knowledge of various software testing methodologies, techniques, and best practices (regression testing, performance testing, load testing, and security testing) 

• Extensive experience in designing, developing, and maintaining test automation frameworks and scripts using industry-standard tools and libraries such as Selenium, Appium, or similar  

• Strong Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or similar
