As a Partner Engineer, you'll lead deployments, optimize implementations, and handle integrations to build successful, long-term partnerships. You will own technical engagements and be the key driver in finding creative and solutions that lead Crunchyroll's experiences to the next level.
You will lead projects that require close collaboration with other teams like Product, Engineering, Business Development, Program Management, and Marketing. You'll help improve existing operations, defining and commercialising new solutions, bridging product gaps, automating partner operations, and taking new initiatives from conception to successful deployment.
This is a full-stack role with a front-end focus. You have a broad understanding of security, performance, accessibility, and compliance, from the end-user's device through to our cloud services. You'll contribute by enhancing HTML applications, adding new partner functionality, debugging, profiling, and analysing data. You'll need a good awareness of UX as you will innovate, add new features, and oversee partner deployments.
As the Staff Partner Engineer, you will report to the Senior Manager of Partner Engineering. This is not a remote role, and we are considering applicants only in the Hyderabad metropolitan area.

- You have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
- You have 12+ years of experience building complex systems in collaboration with partners.
- You have experience working with HTML, JavaScript and the browser ecosystem.
- You have experience with Client/Server and scalable technologies.
- You have an ability to speak to both business and technical team members.
- You have experience designing, working with and integrating cloud APIs.
- You have platform experience with AndroidTV, AppleTV, ChromeOS, or WebOS (a plus).
- You have experience working with embedded devices, Consumer Electronics manufacturers, SoC providers, and pay TV Operators (a plus).
The Ecosystem Engineering team at Crunchyroll plays a pivotal role in enhancing and expanding our users' experiences. We collaborate extensively with a diverse network of partners to integrate, test, deploy, and improve the Crunchyroll streaming application, content discovery APIs, and billing integration APIs over the entire device lifecycle using Crunchyroll tools and data. Our primary objective is to drive growth, open new acquisition channels, and optimize our services' scope and quality.
