Position Summary: CVS Shared Services Resources LLC, a CVS Health company, is hiring for the following role in Woonsocket, RI: Staff Software Development Engineer to lead the Architecture, design and development of the platform engineering initiatives and
the Software Development Engineering team. Act as an executive technical leader across
strategic efforts, leveraging partners, technical leads, and technical expertise to execute
and inform processes and outcomes. Be a technologist and work with other Software and
DevOps Engineers in planning, prioritizing and performing assigned tasks meeting
business timelines and quality expectations. Develop and implement the platform
engineering strategy, architecture, and roadmap. Collaborate with cross-functional
teams to identify opportunities for process improvement. Advocate and Drive
implementation of security best practices. Lead and execute Automation of CI-CD
pipelines for Enterprise leveraging tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Octopus,
GitLab. Identify and Lead Software development Initiatives thereby building digital
platform solutions to the customers. Hire and mentor Software Development Managers
and Engineers and responsible for their development growth. Independently lead
development of solutions with high complexity and risk. Telecommuting available. Multiple Positions.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Systems Engineering or a related field. 60 months of Progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation. Requires five (5) years of experience in each of the following: 1. CI/CDJenkins, GIT, or DevOps;
2. XML, JSON, HTML, CSS, or JavaScript;
3. Agile methodologies;
4. SAFe Software Development Principles;
5. Frameworks: Angular, JavaScript, React, jQuery, Ajax, Bootstrap, or Backbone;
6. Objected-oriented JavaScript;
7. REST, SOAP, or Web Service APIs;
8. JIRA, Rally, or Confluence;
9. Infrastructure components: GPU’s or CPU’s;
10. Software development lifecycle (SDLC);
11. Software testing, quality assurance, and troubleshooting;
12. Domain support for healthcare or retail organization;
13. Web and mobile applications development;
14. Writing application code and deploying to production; and
15. Developing backend services, performing code reviews, and collaborating with peers on software development solutions
Pay Range: $204090.00/year to $236900.00/year.
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
