Role
We are looking for a Staff Software Development Engineer to join our team. This is a hybrid role based in Bangalore, reporting to the Director, Software Development Engineering.
As a Staff Software Development Engineer, you will be a technical leader within the Engineering department, driving the core purpose and overall impact of our cloud-native infrastructure. You will focus on building robust systems that serve as the foundation for our high-growth global organization.
What you’ll do (Role Expectations)
- Developing and maintaining the Query layer using Java or Go within a Kubernetes environment
- Designing, implementing, and deploying Kubernetes clusters that are scalable and reliable
- Developing monitoring systems and deploy services in the cloud
- Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to Kubernetes clusters, containers, and microservices
- Contributing to the overall reliability, scalability, and security of applications in cloud-native environments

What We’re Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)
- 5+ years of experience with Programming languages like Java or Go
- 3+ years of experience in Kubernetes, Docker, Kafka
- 4+ years of public cloud experience (AWS or GCP or Azure)
- Expertise in designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code
What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- Experience in continuous monitoring, vulnerability scanning, patching, and reporting
- Experience with multiple cloud providers (AWS, Azure) and both relational and non-relational databases for microservices
