At CVS Health, we’re building a world of health around every consumer and surrounding ourselves with dedicated colleagues who are passionate about transforming health care.

As the nation’s leading health solutions company, we reach millions of Americans through our local presence, digital channels and more than 300,000 purpose-driven colleagues – caring for people where, when and how they choose in a way that is uniquely more connected, more convenient and more compassionate. And we do it all with heart, each and every day.

Position Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and versatile technical or functional lead with a strong full stack background who can confidently engage with executive stakeholders while leading technical initiatives. This role bridges the gap between strategy and execution—translating complex technical solutions into clear, high-level executive communications, while maintaining hands-on involvement in development tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end technical design and development across the full stack (front-end, back-end, and database layers)
  • Champion security principles throughout the SDLC, ensuring compliance with best practices, company policies, and regulatory requirements (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR)
  • Identify, track, and drive resolution of technical debt to sustain product quality, scalability, and maintainability
  • Knowledge in AI/ML technologies to drive automation, improve decision-making, or enhance user experience—especially within healthcare-focused applications is preferred
  • Act as a liaison between technical teams and executive leadership; deliver compelling executive-level presentations and articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Prepare executive-facing technical documentation, reports, roadmaps, and high-level architecture materials
  • Serve in a cross-functional capacity, collaborating with both business and technical teams to define functional requirements and ensure alignment on deliverables
  • Participate actively in solutioning, architecture reviews, code development, and deployment activities
  • Champion technical best practices, mentor junior developers, and support continuous improvement across the development team
  • Own and drive functional aspects of project delivery—aligning technology with business goals

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong proficiency in multiple programming languages and frameworks (e.g., JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, React, Angular, .NET, Java, Python)
  • Familiarity with AI tools and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, OpenAI, Azure Cognitive Services)
  • Proven experience delivering full stack applications in a leadership capacity
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills, particularly when interfacing with C-suite executives
  • Experience in crafting technical documentation for strategic and executive audiences
  • Ability to operate in both Agile and Waterfall project environments
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a product mindset

Education

  • Bachelor's degree preferred/specialized training/relevant professional qualification.
