We're looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our Mobile Development Team. Reporting to the Sr Manager, Software Engineering, you'll be responsible for:
- Designing and develop large and complex features for Zscaler Client Connector Cloud Service
- Taking end-to-end ownership of the design and implementation of core product functionality and key technical initiatives
- Working closely with the Development, Product Management, and cloud Operations teams from design to release of the product/feature
What We're Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in developing web applications and micro services
- Hands on experience in: Enterprise Java, OOP, OOA, systems architecture and RESTful APIs, and related frameworks
- Development experience with RDBMS databases (fluent with SQL programming, Stored Procedures)
- Advanced coding skills in Java, REST APIs
- Hands-on experience creating and optimizing scalable REST applications for a public cloud
What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- Knowledge on Security, Authentication/Authorization and encryption best practices
- Experience with version control, defect tracking, and build systems
- Experience with browser debugging and profiling tools
