Job Description

Responsibilities: 

  • Set up and break down event spaces, including tables, chairs, decorations, and any other necessary equipment. 

  • Assist with event execution, including catering, bar service, entertainment, and any other vendors as needed. 

  • Ensure that all event spaces are clean, organized, and meet the expectations of guests and event organizers. 

  • Assist the Event Lead and management team in addressing any issues or concerns that arise during events, including guest complaints, vendor issues, or logistical challenges. 

  • Ensure that all event-related documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner. 

 

Requirements: 

  • Previous event or hospitality experience preferred, but not required. 

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively. 

  • Have or obtain any certifications or permits required for handling or serving food and alcohol in Davidson County. 

  • Able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed (must have flexible schedule)

  • Works outdoors/indoors 

  • Works in warm/cold climates 

  • Works in high places 

  • Works on wet surfaces 

  • Is exposed to loud noise, fumes and/or toxic chemicals 

  • Works near moving, mechanical parts and lift truck traffic 

  • Must be able to move up to 55 lbs 

 

Must be at least 21 years of age. Must be able to sit and/or stand for long periods of time and work on a computer for extended periods. Lifting may be required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
